Problem

Feedback and research findings reveal that despite the plethora of information available to people, more than one quarter of Australians don’t know where to find event information, with social media only fragmenting this information further.

Solution

soop is a purpose-built events directory that celebrates and uplifts the events, cultural, and music industry. Our platform combines both public and private events again, in a space where Facebook used to dominate, only this time without the noise of a social media platform. It also allows users who don't wish for traditional social media accounts to still keep up to date with the events of their friend's and favourite musicians, or other community events. This is something that hasn't been mastered in this space before - and with our vision, we plan to. On top of this, soop is purpose-built for events, meaning that users can easily locate and stay up to date with events.
